This is the wine Eben makes to show off his winemaking skills and it is the wine you serve when you want to show off. Made from the grapes of nine small vineyards where Eben has planted Mediterranean red varieties suited to the Swartland soil and climate with the sole purpose of producing a regional Swartland blend that is truly something phenomenal. Sold out
Made from a blend of 11 Mediterranean white varieties that are harvested from 17 vineyard parcels, pressed to concrete eggs clay amphorae to ferment, blended after 12months and then aged for another year in two old wooden foudres. The Palladius is complex, textured, composed and exceptional. Best when aged for a minimum of 4-6yrs.

Soldaat, Pofadder, Treinspoor, Skerpioen, Skurfberg, Kokerboom, Mev Kirsten and ‘T Voetpad. Many of the vines that make up these individual wines were planted over 100 years ago and with Eben's masterful touch, they offer us a sensory snapshot of the last century. Availability of these wines is limited. All best enjoyed with years in the bottle and much suspense.
